Hello everyone,
I’m Dusty Vickers, and I’m truly honored to serve as Commodore for the 70th Annual Beaufort Water Festival! I’m proud to stand alongside an incredible team of dedicated volunteers, community leaders, and supporters as we bring to life this year’s “Platinum Celebration” — a tribute to Beaufort’s vibrant spirit and timeless traditions.
This festival has always been about connection — neighbors coming together, families making memories, and visitors discovering what makes our community so special. Thanks to the vision and generosity of our sponsors, we’re able to create unforgettable moments for all ages, from thrilling entertainment to inspiring art, music, and family fun.
Each year, local and national businesses, along with our philanthropic partners, help the festival continue to grow and thrive. Since 1956, the Beaufort Water Festival has united our community through a lineup of events that bring energy, laughter, and togetherness to our beautiful waterfront. Every evening offers something unique, and every weekend is packed with excitement and coastal charm.
We simply couldn’t do it without the support of our sponsors — the businesses and individuals who believe in Beaufort and its people. Their partnership allows us to shine a spotlight on local talent, celebrate creativity, and keep our traditions alive. I encourage everyone to visit our sponsor page and show your appreciation for those who help make it all happen.
A special thank-you also goes out to our volunteers and civic organizations. Their dedication, heart, and hard work are the backbone of this festival. As the plaque at Waterfront Park reminds us, “There is nothing more caring, giving, and willing than the heart of a volunteer.” I see that spirit in every one of them.
“Sunny Days & Friendship Waves” will be here before you know it — and we can’t wait to celebrate everything that makes Beaufort shine. See you at the festival!
