Why Volunteer?

Ask any of our hundreds of return volunteers why they volunteer and you’ll be amazed at the

range of answers. Mostly it’s because you cross over from being an audience member to being

part of the festival. You are a part of a history and ensuring that the tradition continues. The friendships, the camaraderie, the sense of community and the shared laughter that come out of working at the festival, more than compensates for giving up a few hours. There are plenty of opportunities to learn new skills or pass along knowledge.

Volunteers are very important to the production of the Beaufort Water Festival. Each volunteer

helps make it a great experience for everyone. We invite you to join our volunteer team – you’re

sure to meet some great people, develop lasting friendships, give back to your community and

help make the 55^th Beaufort Water Festival the best yet!
